Family Holidays

A holiday that works for everyone coming along.

From sandy beaches and splash pools to big family adventures, I'll help you find a holiday that works for everyone, including the person who's organising it!

Family holidays that work for everyone

There's something special about getting away together as a family. Whether that's a week beside the pool, exploring somewhere new or simply enjoying a few days without the usual routine, the best holidays give everyone something to look forward to.

Of course, what makes a great family holiday depends on who's coming along.

A toddler might be perfectly happy with a splash pool and a bucket. A teenager might have rather different ideas. And if grandparents are joining you, finding somewhere that gives everyone a little space can make all the difference.

That's where I can help.

Finding the right kind of family holiday

Some families want a resort where everything is taken care of, with activities, entertainment and plenty to keep the children occupied.

Others prefer a villa, a self-catering apartment or somewhere that makes exploring the local area easy.

There's no single right answer.

An all-inclusive resort can make budgeting easier, especially when snacks, drinks and ice creams seem to disappear faster than you can buy them. But if you're planning to spend most days exploring, self-catering or another board option might suit you better.

It's about finding what works for your family, rather than simply choosing the hotel with the biggest swimming pool.

The little details that make a big difference

Sometimes it's not the headline attractions that determine how enjoyable a holiday will be.

A shorter airport transfer, a room with enough space for everyone, sensible flight times or a hotel close to the beach can be worth considerably more than another restaurant you'll never visit.

If you're travelling with younger children, teenagers or several generations of the family, I'll help you weigh up those practical details alongside the fun stuff.

And when comparing prices, I'll look at the overall cost, not just the headline figure. Flights, baggage, meals and activities can make two apparently similar holidays very different propositions.

Your family, your holiday

Whether you're planning a first trip abroad with little ones, looking for somewhere to keep teenagers entertained or bringing the extended family together, I'd love to help you find somewhere that suits.

Tell me who's coming along and what makes a great holiday for you. I'll help you work through the options.
