That's one of the biggest attractions of an all-inclusive holiday. With meals, selected drinks and often plenty of activities included, you can concentrate on enjoying yourself rather than constantly reaching for your wallet.

And for families, couples and groups alike, having more of the holiday paid for in advance can make budgeting considerably easier.

All-inclusive comes in all shapes and sizes

Not every all-inclusive resort is the same, and that's part of the appeal.

Some are designed with families in mind, offering swimming pools, children's entertainment, activities and plenty of opportunities to keep everyone occupied.

Others focus on relaxation, with quieter surroundings, lovely restaurants and perhaps an adults-only atmosphere.

You might want a large beachfront hotel with everything on hand, or somewhere smaller that makes a comfortable base for exploring the local area.

The best choice isn't necessarily the hotel offering the most. It's the one offering what you'll actually enjoy.
